The Combine is complete. The scouting is done. The player interviews, too. The only thing to do is for MLS Commissioner Don Garber to take the stage and put FC Cincinnati on the clock.
Rounds one and two of MLS SuperDraft 2019 presented by Adidas will be held on Friday, January 11 at 1:00 PM ET (watch on mlssoccer.com or MLS app). Rounds three and four of the SuperDraft will be held via a conference call at a later date.

Background
MLS Combine – 60 players from universities in the United States and Canada were invited for the Combine, scheduled to take place from Jan. 3-9 at Orlando City Stadium in Orlando, Fla. Prospective selections in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft will have an opportunity to play scrimmages for scouts of all MLS teams, as well as go through various tests and speak to interested teams ahead of the SuperDraft, which will be on Jan. 11 at McCormick Place convention center in Chicago. 2019 Expansion team FC Cincinnati will have the top pick in the SuperDraft.
MLS Superdraft
The MLS SuperDraft is an annual event, taking place in January of each year, in which the teams of Major League Soccer select players who have graduated from college or otherwise been signed by the league. The SuperDraft was first instituted in 2000, as a combination of the MLS College Draft, in which players having graduated from college were selected, and the MLS Supplemental Draft, in which all other players were chosen. The draft is divided into four rounds in which each club has a selection, the order of which is determined by a combination of the teams’ playoff and regular season positions, with the last placed team (or expansion teams) getting the first pick.
Note: Only players from the American university sports system (e.g., the NCAA and the NAIA) are eligible to be drafted. Canadian U Sports men’s soccer players are not included.
