For its second game ever, the Rosanegro visited the capital for a match against D.C. United at Audi Field. With Wayne Rooney and Luciano Acosta gone, the men from The District sport a revamped lineup. The game started bright, with Rudolfo Pizarro scoring Inter Miami’s first-ever goal less than two minutes in. But then the games makers caused things to get strange, and in a short span in the second half, what seemed to be a Miami goal was disallowed, with Román Torres seeing red for a blatant handball; D.C. United equalised, then took the lead two minutes later on a penalty. At the fulltime whistle, it was D.C. walking away with all three points.
